Dr. Allen (AC) Limes joined the Perrysburg Chiropractic team in March of 2021 after his Magna Cum Lade graduation from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Dr. Limes grew up just outside of Bowling Green, Ohio in Tontogany. He spent most of his childhood outdoors working on his family’s farm raising cattle, sheep, and pigs for the 4-H club, spending summers water skiing on the lake, and playing football and basketball at Otsego High School.
During his sophomore basketball season, Dr. Limes injured his back and was unable to walk without severe pain. After just one adjustment from Dr. Koskinen, Dr. Limes was able to not only walk pain-free but return to the court the next day. Dr. Limes was so impressed by the immediate relief he experienced that he decided to pursue his own career as a Doctor of Chiropractic.
After graduating from high school, Dr. Limes attended the University of Findlay where he played football and earned a degree focusing on exercise science in 2017. Dr. Limes then married his wife, Kailey, and the two of them moved to Iowa as he began the more than three-year journey to becoming a chiropractor.
During his time at Palmer, Dr. Limes took many opportunities to diversify his skills as a chiropractor by participating in various technique clubs. After joining the Perrysburg Chiropractic team Dr. Limes also became certified in dry needling to complement his adjustment skills and provide his patients with additional healing and wellness support. Dr. Limes enjoys working with patients in each season of life, knowing the importance of chiropractic care from birth to senior years.
Dr. Limes believes in engaging with the community he serves. He is currently the Vice President of the Perrysburg Chamber of Commerce and has been asked to assume the Presidency in the summer of 2023. Dr. Limes also takes time to network with and support other small businesses in the Perrysburg community.
In his spare time, Dr. Limes enjoys doing just about anything outside, watching the Buckeyes with friends, and spending time with his family, especially his one-year-old daughter, Melodie. Dr. Limes’ philosophy is centered around holistic, collaborative, and non-invasive treatment, and is committed to continued professional growth to provide his patients with the best care possible. Dr. Limes is currently taking new patients and is excited to continue to serve his patients at Perrysburg Chiropractic.
