MOVEMENT MATTERS - at Perrysburg Chiropractic
with Molly Denomy
Corrective Exercise Specialist

Molly Young Denomy has over 22 years of experience in sports performance training and rehabilitation.

After graduating in 1999 from the University of Toledo's Exercise Science Athletic Training Program, she pursued a Master's of Science in Clinical Kinesiology graduating in 2001.

Molly continued to pursue her passion for function and corrective rehabilitation while working as a clinical athletic trainer at Sports Care Rehabilitation. While there, she served as the University of Toledo's Clinical Instructor for the Athletic Training Program and provided exceptional patient care for all types of joint pain and muscle movement issues.

Wanting to further expand her knowledge in elite athletic performance and corrective exercise, The Board of Certification of The National Academy of Sports Medicine granted Molly the advanced certification of Corrective Exercise Specialist in 2005.

Molly spent the next several years developing knowledge and trained her clients in unique, out of the box functional fitness. She also created the technique and exercise content videos for one of the leaders in bodyweight exercise, Brian Devlin's PTexplosion.com.

In 2013, following the advice of Dr. Perry Nickelston, Molly earned her Level 1 and 2 Rock Tape Provider Certification in fascial movement taping.

Additional research was done in neuromuscular and fascial relationships including study of Anatomy Trains. In June of 2015, led by her close college friend and chiropractor, Dr. Todd Riddle, Molly obtained her FAKTR certification - Functional And Kinetic Treatment with Rehab. This unique and scientifically based soft tissue treatment uses instrument assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization to help "iron out all the wrinkles" in the muscle and fascia where pain and tissue damage get trapped.

In July of 2015, a chance meeting brought Molly to Dr. Koskinen and Perrysburg Chiropractic. Her knowledge and expertise of functional movement, along with Dr. Koskinen's skill and experience in treating musculoskeletal condition is an excellent combination offering a team approach for exceptional service in our office.
